About Us

Waterbabies Birth Pools was founded by Sue MacGregor, Childbirth educator and owner of Birth Supplies Canada.  With over 18 years working with expectant families preparing for home and hospital water births, as well as giving birth in water at home herself. Sue has first hand insight into the needs and wants of a labouring mother.

As owner of Birth Supplies Canada, the leading retailer of water birth pools in Canada, Sue also has unique insight into the preferences of pregnant women buying their birth pools as well as the midwives and hospitals who purchase them.

Combining all this knowledge along with input from various midwives, doulas and experienced mothers came the birth of the waterbabies birth pool.
